| Description of the seal image | The seal images of this stamp-cylinder seal comprise two scenes. The cylinder image is framed by a triple-line border at the top. The royal hero grasps a rampant lion-dragon by the throat with one hand and holding a dagger in the other. He wears a dentate crown (cidaris) and Persian clothing (court robe). Next to them is a reclining human-headed winged lion (shedu, sphinx) under the winged sun-disc. The stamp image depicts a reclining wild goat (ibex) under a crescent moon. The handle is decorated with a linear pattern above the triple-line border. |
