Description of the seal image A half-kneeling, bearded hero (archer) wearing a belted tunic with a fringed lower edge aims his bow at a human-headed winged lion (lamassu, sphinx). The archer has a sword in a sheath at his waist and a tasselled quiver full of arrows on his back. Between the two figures, there is an eight-rayed star above and a small, palmette-like stylised plant below. Above the hybrid creature is a crescent moon.
